About Cedar Lane Early Learning Center
Warm, low-ratio early learning in Edison since 2009
Our Story
Cedar Lane Early Learning Center was founded in 2009 by Danielle Carter, a lifelong educator who wanted Edison families to have a childcare option that felt less like a facility and more like an extension of home — warm, small, and genuinely known.
More than fifteen years later, that is still the heart of Cedar Lane. We keep ratios low, hire credentialed teachers who stay for years, and treat every family like a partner. From the infant room to Pre-K, our goal is simple: children who feel safe, seen, and excited to learn.
What sets us apart is consistency. The same familiar faces greet your child each morning, the same play-based curriculum grows with them room to room, and the same open-door policy means you are always welcome to walk in and see it for yourself.
What We Offer
One trusted place for your child from six weeks through kindergarten readiness: infant daycare, toddler and preschool rooms, a kindergarten-prep Pre-K, and a weekly-theme summer camp — plus Spanish, STEAM, and music enrichment woven through the day. Everything runs on a play-based, whole-child curriculum and the low ratios Edison parents ask us about first.
